Our crude oil trading specialists operates around the globe. We have first-hand knowledge and expertise in the markets, maintain long-term relationships with key market participants—producers, refiners, logistics companies and storage experts—and are actively involved in developing projects related to existing and new crude oil flows.
Crude oil is a raw material than can produce a wide array of products, each playing a crucial role in our everyday lives. Trafigura sources, stores and supplies many of these petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, bitumen and heavy fuel oil. We also blend fuels to comply with environmental regulations and enhance their performance for end-users.
The Crude Oil desk also continued its growth by increasing the turnaround of its storage in the U.S. In addition, trading volumes in Singapore are maintained by the blending business of Crude Oil into very low sulphur bunker Fuel Oil. We work with producers to market and distribute their daily crude production, while helping refiners secure reliable and consistent supplies of the right quality crude at the right time. Ultimate transports crude oil and provides critical market insights and intelligence to our customers, as well as access to appropriate markets. As a physical trader, we can deliver crude anywhere our customers require through our Operations Division. We are a leading spot charterer of crude vessels and have a dedicated fleet of vessels to deliver crude oil where it’s needed.
